Development of Edible Park cultivation
Edible Park is hiring a cultivation coordinator, whose tasks include planning and developing the Park's cultivation activities, as well as directing cultivation talks and workshops.
Cultivation talks are guided in the evenings for adults 1-2 times a week, and during the day for groups of schoolchildren, kindergartens, seniors and groups of people with developmental disabilities. In addition, he plans other open programs suitable for the activities of the Park.
Developing cultivation means expanding the Park's plantations (if possible) and at least building a seasonal greenhouse, so that the Park can grow its own seedlings.
The proposal supports the development and continuation of communal, ecological and healthy (exercise and fresh vegetables) life in southeast Helsinki and elsewhere in the city. In the Edible Park, people who have lost touch with food production can try it themselves in a guided, safe and grandma-like environment in the middle of the city.
