Benches along the streets offer an opportunity to rest
There are few places to sit along the streets. The possibility to rest along the way encourages citizens to take care of things more also on foot and independently, because there is no need to fear running out of energy in the middle of the journey. Therefore, more places to sit on the side of the street are needed, so that the elderly, people with poor mobility and people with reduced mobility can rest while running errands. Benches on the roadsides also activate and increase the movement of the aforementioned groups by enabling independent shopping on foot.
